Welcome to Leven Golfing Society
The world’s 11th oldest Golf Club and the famous Leven Links.
The iconic Clubhouse which overlooks what is claimed to be the second most difficult finishing hole in Scottish golf with the demonic Scoonie Burn surrounding the Green, is a magnificent turreted building housing many historical artefacts including the famous Gold Medal which is older than the Open Championship’s Claret Jug.
The Open Amateur Stroke-play Championship which is the world’s oldest such competition was inaugurated in 1870 and has been won by many famous golfers including perhaps the most famous of all, Lee Westwood OBE who kindly agreed to accept the Patronage of the Club.
